We can reveal that Bob Jungels will race for Ineos Grenadiers in 2025 after agreeing terms on a two-year contract with the British team.

Rider deals cannot be ratified until the UCI’s transfer window opens on August 1 but we understand that the deal will take place and that Jungels will make the move at the end of this season.

Jungels, 31, joined Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe at the start of 2023 and has formed part of the team’s spine in Grand Tours and the Spring Classics. He is currently racing the Tour de France in support of team leader Primož Roglič. 

The 2018 Liège-Bastogne-Liège winner hasn’t won a race since joining the German team but has started three Grand Tours in 18 months.
