Steve Cummings has confirmed that he has stepped down from his role as the Director of Racing at Ineos Grenadiers. His departure comes after months of silence and uncertainty surrounding his position.

Cummings was controversially left at home for the Tour de France and did not appear at a race for Ineos Grenadiers during the summer. The team would not comment as to when Cummings would return and over the last few weeks several management changes have been announced without any mention of Cummings.
