Cian Uijtdebroeks: It’s about finding the way to win 🏆
Young Belgian takes aim at week-long races in 2025
The 2024 season was a mixed bag for Cian Uijtdebroeks.
Fresh from his move from Bora-Hansgrohe to Visma-Lease a Bike, the 21-year-old experienced an up-and-down season, abandoning two Grand Tours and never really finding the consistency that he’d enjoyed in 2023.
This season is all about finding a way to win, with the Belgian finally healthy following the back injury that took him out of the Vuelta a España, and a calendar stacked with week-long races. He will miss both the Giro and the Tour, but a spot at the Vuelta is possible. However, three-week racing isn’t the main priority for the Belgian, as he told us at the Visma-Lease a Bike training camp.
