The French transfer market is in full swing with homegrown riders Axel Zingle and Guillaume Martin moving teams on the day the UCI’s transfer window opened.

Zingle, currently on Cofidis’ books has penned a three-year deal with Visma-Lease a Bike and will bolster the team’s Spring Classic contingent.

The 25-year-old impressed in several 1.1 races in France and Belgium earlier in the year and won the Boucles de l'Aulne-Châteaulin in May. He’s raced the Tour de France for the last two years and Visma-Lease a Bike believes that they can develop the rider as he enters the best years of his career.
