Hey Subscribers,
Let’s start with confirmation that Lennert Van Eetvelt has agreed a three-year deal to join NSN Cycling Team from Lotto Intermarché. As we reported last week, a decision on his future would be made on Monday, and the transfer has now been completed with the Belgian changing teams.

Lotto are losing Arnaud De Lie to Tudor, as we know, but they’re expected to make a splash with a couple of replacements. First up is Stan Dewulf, though several teams are looking at the Decathlon rider. What’s certain is that he’ll move at the end of the season, and while Lotto are the favourites, there are still a couple of other teams interested in the rider.

If Dewulf does move there, he could be joined by Juan Sebastián Molano, but Red Bull and Alpecin-Premier Tech are also keeping tabs on the Colombian. The rider had talks last week at Barcelona airport about his future, and for now, I’d say it’s between Alpecin and Lotto on that front.

The savings from Van Eetvelt’s and De Lie’s departures - around 3 million Euros - mean that the Belgian team can make a new proposal to Jarno Widar. The young Belgian appears happy where he is, but his current deal expires at the end of 2027, so the team’s management will be keen to extend it before he enters the final year of his existing contract.
