Cycling Transfers: Kasia Niewiadoma on the verge of signing with Lidl-Trek 🇵🇱
De Lie makes his choice and agrees to a three-plus-year contract at Tudor Pro Cycling
Hey Subscribers,
Breaking news coming out of the Vuelta España Femenina, with Kasia Niewiadoma close to signing with Lidl-Trek on what we believe will be a three-year contract.
The Polish rider, who is sitting 12th on GC after three stages, has been courted all spring by the German team, and despite CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto previously telling us that they were confident that their former Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift champion would stay, it now looks like she will depart.

From what we understand, contracts have been presented, the verbal terms have been agreed upon, and the only element missing - albeit an important one - is a signature, with the 31-year-old on the verge of a change of teams for the first time since 2018.
Niewiadoma has been close to leaving her current team in the past, but Lidl-Trek have been pushing for a leader since their new level of investment, and despite making a raft of new signings in the last 18 months, haven’t quite delivered in the biggest races. They see Niewiadoma as the final piece of the puzzle - or at the very least their leader for the next couple of seasons before making a potential play for Paula Blasi, who is out of contract at UAE Team ADQ at the end of 2027. Lidl-Trek are one of three teams currently vying for the Spanish rider’s signature.
