Just a quick story here because this one caught me off-guard when I first heard it last night, and I’m still trying to process it, but several sources at the Tour de France have told me that Dylan Groenewegen could be heading to Unibet Tietema Rockets in 2026.

We have already reported that he’s set to leave Jayco AlUla at the end of the season, but it was widely expected that the Dutch rider would be joining a WorldTour team.
Astana were linked with him a few weeks ago, but those connections appeared weak at the time. Then on Thursday evening, word reached me that the 32-year-old was heading to the second-tier team of Unibet Tietema Rockets.
This morning, I called Bas Tietema from the team, and he wouldn’t comment on the matter, neither confirming nor denying that the transfer would take place. He can’t confirm transfers until August 1 at the earliest.
