🤏 🇪🇸 Ineos Grenadiers closing in on signing teenage sensation Benjamín Noval
The 16-year-old has also drawn attention from Red Bull and UAE Team Emirates

Ineos Grenadiers may not have any concrete plans for a U23 team in 2026, but that hasn’t stopped them from negotiating with some of the most exciting talents on the junior scene, with the British team currently leading the chase to sign Spanish sensation Benjamín Noval.
The MMR Academy rider is only 16 but has been on several teams’ radars since the start of last year. According to our information, Noval has drawn attention from Ineos Grenadiers, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe and UAE Team Emirates, but despite being the only team on that list without a full-fledged junior or U23 team of their own, Ineos Grenadiers are the closest to signing the talented junior.
UAE Team Emirates are out of the running and although Noval has been tested by Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe in the last few months, it’s Ineos who are in pole position as things stand.

Noval has already won races this season, taking the victory in the Trofeo Santiago Santana, as well as a stage and the overall at the Challenge Comarcas Leonesas. He recently finished 24th on his junior Paris-Roubaix debut. He’s also a star on the cyclo-cross scene, winning national titles and finishing fourth in the junior race at the UCI World Championships earlier this year.
