Ineos Grenadiers have signed the reigning U23 men’s world champion Axel Laurance from Alpecin-Deceuninck. The 23-year-old Frenchman joins on a two-year deal, and bolsters the team’s attacking options in several areas.

At the same time, doubts have been raised about the arrival of Pablo Castrillo. The Spaniard was expected to join Ineos Grenadiers on a two-year deal but following his surprise double-stage win in the Vuelta a Espańa a report in the Spanish press suggested that a deal had yet to be signed between the two parties.
