Honestly, I’m most looking forward to returning to the Tour de France. For me, it’s the race that means the most. It’s the biggest race of the year and there’s just something special about the Tour de France. You have to be there to feel it. Actually, you can feel it through the screen, to be honest. It really feels special. Of course, [the aim is] to try and go for the win again and to be at the start of the Tour de France with the best possible preparation and the best possible shape that I can be in.
So for the 2025 season, my biggest goal will be the Tour de France again, to try and win that of course for the third time. Then in the Spring, I will do Paris-Nice and Catalunya, and also later on I will do the Vuelta a España. I’m starting in these races to try and go for the victories there. I’m really motivated to win these races. The Vuelta is a special race, one of the biggest in the world, and one that I’d really love to win.
(He will start his season in Algarve, and include Dauphine before the Tour)

As far as results go I would like to win another one-week stage race. I only do a few of them, Paris-Nice and the Dauphiné, as of now. I’d like to win one of those. I was close to the Dauphiné. And then to win another one-day race again. I think that the challenge of winning a one-day race is fun.
