Soudal Quick-Step CEO Jurgen Foré has given updates on several riders whose contracts are up this year, including Mike Landa, Luke Lamperti, Paul Magnier, and Ilan Van Wilder.

Landa, Lamperti, and Van Wilder entered 2025 with their contracts set to expire at the end of the season, but earlier this week, we exclusively broke the news that Magnier had signed a contract extension.

The French rider had a deal in place until the end of 2026, but Foré and the rider’s representatives have agreed to a one-year extension until the end of 2027.

“Paul is going to be with us for the next three seasons, so we still have this season and then two seasons after this. We were with us until 2026, so now he’s here with us until 2027,” Foré told us during an interview at the Spring Classics.

This is the first full season in which Foré has been fully in charge of the roster, having taken over from Patrick Lefevere after a transitional season in 2024 when the pair worked together.

The team’s main asset, Remco Evenepoel, is currently contracted to the team until the end of next season, but Foré has several important decisions to make. He was quick to secure a fresh three-year deal with Tim Merlier earlier in the season, but there are still several key riders to decide upon.

Luke Lamperti joined the team at the start of 2024 and has made an immediate impression with a series of impressive results in the Spring Classics.

An injury held him back at the beginning of this campaign, but he has bounced back in recent weeks with two top-ten finishes in Belgium. The 22-year-old American recently told us that he is eager to extend his contract with the team, and Foré seemed to share the same sentiment.
