It’s almost the end of the season and most riders, especially those changing teams at the end of the year, would be forgiven for having one eye on the beach and their well-earned off-seasons. For Laurence Pithie, it’s a different scenario. 

The New Zealander is leaving Groupama-FDJ after four seasons within the French organisation and heading to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe in 2025. However, before the transfer occurs, the Classics revelation is determined to end his time at Groupama on a high. 

Currently racing what is likely to be his final event for Marc Madiot’s French team at the Skoda Tour de Luxembourg, Pithie is going all-out to either take a win or support his teammates in their pursuit of glory.

Speaking to us just before the race began, Pithie pinpointed his final objective before lowering the curtain on his long and successful campaign.
