Magnus Bäckstedt removed himself from Canyon-SRAM's Tour management 'due to conflict over tactics'

When Canyon-SRAM won the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift via Kasia Niewiadoma last weekend there was one notable absentee from the photos and the celebrations, with sports director Magnus Bäckstedt nowhere to be seen.
In an exclusive interview, the Swede told us that he removed himself from the team ahead of the Tour de France due to a conflict with General Manager, Ronny Lauke, over tactics.
