Next rider up: Noah Hobbs

We caught up with the talented British rider as he continues his journey in the U23 ranks

I know, and you know, that I love writing about cycling transfers but in the last few weeks, I’ve really enjoyed the ‘Next Rider Up’ series. The focus is on young talent coming through the ranks and sharing riders’ stories from the juniors and U23s.

I’ve appreciated stepping back and covering the up-and-coming hopefuls and the latest rider is 20-year-old Brit, Noah Hobbs, who I spoke to just before the Tour of Britain.

Noah is a rising sprinter who has taken three wins already this year and he’s based in France with the Equipe continentale Groupama-FDJ team.

The ‘Next Rider Up’ series focuses on young and exciting talent that’s come through the ranks in Europe and the US and is on the cusp of turning pro.
