Don't call it a comeback: Rod Ellingworth is heading back to Bahrain-Victorious.

There are still several questions that surround Rod Ellingworth’s surprise return to Bahrain-Victorious, such as when his role officially starts, and what his precise job title will be, however, the overall complexion of the announcement that was released on Thursday provides Ellingworth with the ideal remit for his skills and experience.

Ellingworth was the general manager at Bahrain-McLaren from the tail-end of 2019 until the end of the following season. But when McLaren swiftly left the sport due to COVID-19 financial cut-backs, Ellingworth returned to Ineos Grenadiers and took up the role of deputy team principal until he eventually moved along at the end of 2023.
