Setting up Tom Pidcock on his Scott Addict RC 🔧
We talk to his new mechanic at Q36.5 Pro Cycling about the rider's switch from Pinarello to Scott road bikes
Cederic Stahli has been in the world of pro cycling for well over a decade. As a former junior rider and a qualified mechanic for more than ten years, he worked at Tudor Pro Cycling before transferring to Q36.5 Pro Cycling.
With Tom Pidcock joining the team in the off-season following a late mid-contract switch from Ineos Grenadiers, Stahli and his fellow backroom staff have been in a race against time to help the rider make the switch from his previous position on the Pinarello Dogma to riding on Scott’s all-new Addict RC and Foil RC.
At the team’s recent training camp in Calpe, Spain, we caught up with Stahli to talk about Pidcock’s new set-up and how he’s helped the Olympic champion make the transition from one bike brand to another.
“First we got his old bike and from that, we took the measurements. Then we needed to copy the position from the old bike to the new one. At the moment he’s on a Scott Addict RC and the XS frame, which fits him perfectly,” Stahli told us.
