🚨 Steff Cras set to join Soudal Quick-Step in 2026 🇧🇪
Remco Evenepoel will be joined by another strong climber as Soudal beat Ineos to Cras’ signature
Hi Subscribers,
Breaking news is emerging from Belgium, with sources confirming to us that Steff Cras is set to join Soudal Quick-Step in 2026.
Cras, 29, currently races for Team TotalEnergies and has attracted interest from several WorldTour teams in recent months. We understand that Ineos Grenadiers and Soudal Quick-Step were the final two teams in the running to sign the Belgian; however, in the past few days, the rider has agreed to join Jurgen Foré’s squad on a multi-year contract.

Confirmation of the signing won’t land until after the August 1 transfer window opens, but this will be welcome news for Soudal Quick-Step and their leader Remco Evenepoel, who will be excited to see another climber join the team’s ranks.

Cras finished 11th in the Vuelta a España a couple of years ago, and 16th in the Tour de France last year. Although not a prolific winner, he’ll improve the Soudal Quick-Step mountain contingent, joining Mikel Landa, Valentin Paret-Peintre, Louis Vervaeke, and Ilan Van Wilder as Evenepoel’s support crew, while at the same time no doubt having his own opportunities in certain races.
