Since the hustle and bustle of Albania, the transfer activity within the WorldTour has tailed off as teams continue to take stock and assess their Grand Tour options at the Giro d’Italia.
Most of the Classics riders who were out of contract have either extended or moved, and as we reported before the announcement was made official, Mads Pedersen has extended his contract with Lidl-Trek. As we previously reported, the basis for that deal was established during the winter.
Other transfers have taken place over the last few days, and I’ve collated as much as I can, both in terms of WorldTour moves and riders who are set to graduate from U23 projects.
We’ll cover a few key climbers and sprinters, and have news on Movistar, Ineos Grenadiers, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, UAE Team Emirates, Intermarché-Wanty, Jayco-AlUla, Soudal Quick-Step and several other teams and riders.
