Hey Subscribers,

There are so many areas Ineos Grenadiers need to address in order to regain the top step as the best Grand Tour team in the world, and one of them surrounds their lack of a U23 programme.

UAE Team Emirates, Visma-Lease a Bike and Lidl-Trek all have development squads, while Red Bull will follow suit in 2025, as Ineos Grenadiers stall.

At the earliest, Ineos Grenadiers might have a U23 feeder team in time for the 2026 campaign so we’ve scoured the junior ranks to find potential talent that the British squad could sign and develop for the future.

There’s a huge array of talent out there and we’ve picked 14 possible candidates with massive potential over the coming years. Some of the riders may not be available right now or in 2026. However, if Ineos are serious about developing young talent and harnessing it within the U23 ranks, then all of these riders need to be considered. As they’re a British team, we’ve gone with a homegrown flavour but we’ve also included rising stars from Ireland, France, Slovenia and the USA.

If we’ve missed riders you think should be included, please scroll down to the comments section and leave your tips and suggestions. If we get enough suggestions we can always come back with a part II.

Thanks for reading

Daniel
