The Tour de France routes were announced on Tuesday and although the defending champion wasn’t on the scene in Paris the indications coming out of the Tadej Pogačar camp are that the three-time winner will be back to try and win another title in 2025.

Jonas Vingegaard will probably push the Slovenian the closest but that doesn’t mean the race will come down to just two riders. Fingers crossed!

We’ve selected 10 GC riders we’d like to see at the Tour in 2025, including the key favourites and a few surprises.

Tadej Pogačar 🇸🇮

Team: UAE Team Emirates
Tour pedigree: Three-time winner, 17 stage wins, the defending champion.

The growing consensus is that Pogačar will return to the Tour de France and then turn his attention to the Vuelta a España as he looks to add the missing piece to his Grand Tour puzzle.
