On Wednesday Joseph Blackmore took a stunning win and the yellow jersey at the summit finish of La Rosière, and now leads the Tour de L’Avenir after three stages.
The 21-year-old has had an amazing season to date, winning several stage races and taking the U23 version of Liege-Bastogne-Liege. With a pro contract under his belt with Israel-Premier Tech, Blackmore is definitely going places.
On Thursday morning, as he packed his race bag ahead of stage 4, we caught up with Blackmore to talk about his race and the season so far.
