They’ve worn the yellow jersey for a day through Richard Carapaz, and animated the race at almost every turn through exciting and aggressive tactics, but EF Education-EasyPost won’t be truly happy until they’ve taken a stage win in this year’s Tour de France.

On stage 11 the American squad put several riders in key moves, with Ben Healy and Richard Carapaz making it into the main break of the day. The pair were still active inside the final 35km before the GC squads took matters into their own hands and reeled in the break as the race headed deep into the Massif Central.
