Monday represents the first rest day at the Tour de France, and while that might mean the riders are lucky enough to hit snooze on the alarm it’s all-go for the general managers as they sit down with agents and rider reps to talk contract extensions and potential signings.

Over at Ineos Grenadiers, most of the heavy hitters for 2025 have already been finalised. Egan Bernal, Tom Pidcock, Filippo Ganna and Carlos Rodriguez are locked in for several years, while Magnus Sheffield, Thymen Arensman, Connor Swift, and veteran Jonathan Castroviejo have all signed contract extensions in the last few months. The latter has yet to be announced formally but that’s in the pipeline according to our sources.

The team have already made two additional signings for next year. The 18-year-old Danish sensation Peter Øxenberg has been confirmed by the team on a three-year contract, and we exclusively interviewed the rider’s agent last week about the transfer.
